Our story

From the hills of the Western Ghats.

From the mist-shrouded hills of the Western Ghats, Mocca Malabar Coffee was born. From our own farm and group of farmers, we provide the farmers direct market access across the globe.

Rooted in long-standing relationships with family estates across Karnataka and Kerala, we strive to export carefully selected lots of exceptional single-origin coffee. We intend never to industrialise. Instead, we choose to personalise our relationships, protecting and supporting the vibrant small farmer community in India. Over the years, this human-first approach has shaped us into a trusted sourcing partner for roasteries seeking traceable, characterful coffees with a true sense of place.

Today, we pair our daily on-the-ground presence at origin with precise cupping and quality evaluation. By working hand-in-hand with both growers and roasters, we ensure that every harvest aligns farm realities with global flavour expectations.

What guides Mocca Malabar Coffee.

Mission

As a farmer myself, I'm bringing along a trusted group of fellow farmers I know and work with, connecting them directly to market and cutting out the distance that usually sits between origin and cup. We're not chasing margins for their own sake; we're building a business sustainable enough to keep showing up for the farmers and roasters who trust us, year after year.

Vision

A coffee trade where every farmer knows who roasts their beans, and every roaster knows whose hands grew them — where direct access isn't a marketing term but the way business actually gets done, personal and lasting, one

Values

Direct, not distant No layers between farmer and roaster. Every relationship is one we've built ourselves.

Trust over transactions We work with farmers we know and vouch for — not anonymous supply chain.

Sustainability over scale Growth is a means to keep serving people well, not the goal itself.

Human touch, always Behind every shipment is a name, a farm, and a relationship — never just a line item.
